Vizion's Verdict.

So we had our 18 week appointment for Vizion today. (YES, we're naming baby Vizion click here to learn more.) The appointment lasted about 2 hours because the Ultra-sound Tech had to thoroughly measure and check to make sure baby is developing properly. I didn't mind. I was just anxious to KNOW what we were having.

THREE times the Ultra-sound Tech checked between the legs:
1. The umbilical cord was in the way.

2. The legs were spread eagle BUT we couldn't tell if it was a Boy or a Girl because the angle we were looking at it was straight-on and we couldn't see lines (girl) nor a boto (boy) hahaha.

3. By this time, the Ultra-sound was complete but I wanted a FOR SURE answer. So they checked one last time and it was CLEAR to see that it was a GIRL!!!!

YUP!!! We are having ANOTHER GIRL!! I'm not gonna lie, I was VERY Disappointed! I had my money on a BOY mainly because this pregnancy is soooo different from my pregnancy with Rush. Also because I initially hoped for a boy while I was expecting Rush! So I was like, "This is it! I'm getting my son:)" WRONG!!!

The picture below is of PINK Roses because we're having a Girl and she is due beginning of February! So instead of mommy getting her little Valentine, DADDY will have 3 Valentines every year!! :)



The "Thank You" represents me thanking Heavenly Father for BLESSING us with another baby! Despite the fact that I had HIGH hopes for a boy this time around, there ARE couples out there who can only DREAM of having children!! So although I was VERY disappointed, I am STILL BEYOND Grateful for being able to bear another child!

The "Thank You" also represents my gratitude towards the Lord because right before I found out I was pregnant with this baby, I honestly told myself "PLEASE let Rush be the ONLY girl! I don't think I can handle another girl! I THINK I'D GO CRAZY IF I EVER GOT PREGNANT WITH ANOTHER GIRL!!" (lol)

So I think that Heavenly Father is telling me that I need to humble myself and learn to have more patience. Another girl will DEFINITELY do that! I am SO excited that Rush will have a sister close in age!

Now I'm just curious to see who she will look like?! Rush is her father's twin so I wonder if Vizion will look like him too OR if she'll look like me!? :) My sister who is a year younger than me looks EXACTLY like my dad (full Tongan), while I look EXACTLY like my mom (Hawaiian/Chinese) so people actually asked my mom if we were adopted!! LOL I'm interested to see if Rush and Vizion will look alike OR look like they're not even related!! We.shall.see.(:

Belly Pics

Today was my FIRST time doing belly pics of baby #2. I am 18 weeks exactly. My phone is memory card-less, due to the hubby taking mine and using it in HIS phone so therefore I had to use Stacey to get the job done. Lol (Don't judge me!)

So far I've only gained 3 pounds in this pregnancy and I'm 2 weeks shy of being half way there!! This pregnancy is definitely WAY different from my pregnancy with Rush, 2 main reasons include:

1. Nausea - with Rush I never got morning sickness and rarely felt nauseous, (hence me gaining weight from day ONE lol) - with THIS baby, my whole First Trimester was filled with Nausea! (hence me STILL only being able to gain 3 pounds!)

Yup, so that means the whole time we were home visiting this past summer, I did NOT care to eat anything. No poke. No kalbi. No bbq. No chinese. No L&L. No NOTHING. The ONE thing I did crave was Matsumoto's Shaved Ice! :) I loooooove their Lychee or Hawaiian Shaved Ice with a passion. I made sure to eat there as MANY times as possible before coming back to Washington. (No, I didNOT care that I had to drive to Hale'iwa just to get it.)

I also craved Laulau! That was the ONLY Hawaiian food I cared to eat :)

2. Fatigue - with Rush I slept ALLLLL the time. I swear that IS why I gained so much weight 'cause ALL I did was EAT.and.SLEEP. What a Life, huh?! LOL - with THIS baby, I have A LOT more energy!! I am able to wake up early and stay up almost the whole day with out taking a nap! If I [do] take a nap, it's no more than an hour and a half!

We SHOULD be finding out what we're having tomorrow so I will definitely Blog about that if we do. I am not getting my hopes up because with Rush, we weren't able to tell her sex until I was about 7 months because she always hid down there from the camera lol.
