First Snow of 2012

Since we've lived here in Washington (Summer of 2009), we've had a fair share of snowy winters. But because we live in the Seattle area which is also close to the coast, our snow days were never very full AND never lasted long. So when we heard on the news that we should be expecting snow this month, I assumed it would be like all the other "snow days" we've had; just enough snow to cover the sidewalks but not enough to build a snowman.  Can you say WAY WRONG!? Since Saturday, we've gotten about 8 inches of snow and counting! The most snow I've seen in our town since we've lived here in Washington!!

It's soooo beautiful but makes you NOT want to go anywhere far. haha. Below are some pics of Rush playing in the 'First Snow of 2012' with loved ones; also some of the beautiful snow covered nature I was able to capture<3

P.S. This is Rush's FIRST time interacting with Snow and she absolutely LOVES it! (Last winter she was 6-8 months so we never took her out in the snow.) So this is a video showing just HOW MUCH she can't get enough of the captivating fluffy flakes! :)

New Year, New Goals!!

We hope you all had an AMAZING end of 2011 and an even more Amazing start to 2012! This New Year brought New Motivations which inspired New Goals! We have a list of things we want to improve on Spiritually, Physically & Financially!! 

Our overall goal for 2012 is to *Be Prepared!* (D&C 38:30 "If ye are prepared ye shall not fear.") So because we "prepared" for our Goals a week before the New Year began, we are currently on track for 2012 success! 

Since the time for our ward starting changed from 9am to 1pm, there is NO reason for Rush to be a grouch because we interrupted her beauty rest, lol. There is also NO EXCUSE for us being late to sacrament!

There are numerous exciting things we look forward to achieving this year! First on our list is bringing home our 2nd BEAUTIFUL Blessing :) With just a few short weeks to go, we anxiously anticipate the arrival of Baby Vizion!! So until then, we will be spending down time with our Rush doing various activities, giving her all of our attention because once her sister comes it will be Baby, Baby, Baby, while Rush transforms into the Big Sister<3
